A Summer Make Up Look

Hallo ihr Lieben! Heute möchte ich euch meinen typischen Sommer Make Up Look zeigen. Dafür benutze ich einige alte Favoriten, aber auch wiederentdeckte Lieblingsprodukte. Der Look ist wirklich absolut alltagstauglich und sehr natürlich - da ich es gerade im Sommer nicht so gerne mag eine dicke Schicht Make Up im Gesicht zu haben.

 

Hi guys! Today I wanted to show you my go-to make up look for summer. I'm using some of my old favorites, but also some products I rediscovered recently. The look is definitely suitable for daily use and very naural looking as well.

Fangen wir also mit dem ersten Schritt, der Grundierung, an. Wie bereits gesagt mag ich im Sommer lieber einen leichten Look, deshalb benutze ich auch kein Make Up, sonderen die Maybelline Dream Pure 8-in-1 BB Cream. Sie hat eine leichte Deckkraft, was für mich momentan zum Glück ausreicht, und ein sehr natürliches Finish. Außerdem trage ich die helle Farbe, die für mich eigentlich das ganze Jahr über passt.

Als nächstes trage ich den Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in der Farbe "1 Fair" auf. Es ist mein absoluter Lieblingsconcealer und man kann ihn sowohl auf Unreinheiten, als auch unter den Augen benutzen ohne das er cakey wird.

Als Primer für den Lidschatten benutze ich den Mac Studio Finish Concealer in dem Ton "No 15". Dafür ist er zwar normalerweise nicht gedacht, für mich funktioniert das aber schon seit Jahren super.

Dann fixiere ich alles mit dem Urban Decay de-slick Make Up Setting Spray, das sehr erfrischend ist und das Make Up wirklich länger halten lässt. Also super für den Sommer, wenn das Make Up gerne mal verrutscht.

Let's start with the first step, the base. I prefer to were a light look in the summer, as I don't like wearing a ton of make up in the summer heat. Therefor I'm using the Maybelline Dream Pure 8-in-1 BB Cream. It has light coverage and a natural finish. I'm wearing the light colour which basically suits me all year round.

Next I'm applying the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade "1 fair". It's absolutely my favorite concealer and you can wear it on blemishes as well as under your eyes without having a cakey looking skin.

As eyeshadow base I'm using the Mac studio finish concealer in "NO 15". It isn't typically made for that but it has worked really well for me for years now.

Lastly I fix everything by spraying the Urban Decay de-slick Make Up Setting Spray, which is really refreshing and helps your Make Up to stay longer. Perfect for summer when the make up starts slipping around easily.

Als nächstes ziehe ich meine Augenbrauen mit dem Soap & Glory Archery nach. An einem Ende hat er einen Wachsmalstift und auf der anderen Seite einen feinen Pinsel, was beides super funktioniert. Die Farbe "Brownie Points" passt super zu meinen Augenbrauen. Anschließend bringe ich sie mit dem Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara in Form und fixiere sie. Entschuldigt bitte wie das Gel aussieht, aber es ist auch schon lange in Benutzung :D

The next step is fill in my eyebrows with the Soap & Glory Archary. On one end it has a wax crayon and on the other end a fine brush, which both works very well. The colour "Brownie Points" matches my brows perfectly. Afterward I use the Essence Lash & Brow Gel Mascara to shape and fix them. I know the gel looks really gross, but I've been using it for a long time already :D

Für meine Augen benutze ich heute meine alte Lieblings-Lidschatten-Kombination, die ich letztens wiederentdeckt habe. Auf das bewegliche Lid trage ich "Satin Taupe" und in die Lidfalte "Quarry" auf. Beide Lidschatten sind von Mac, toll pigmentiert und lassen sich noch dazu richtig gut verblenden. Meinen Lidstrich ziehe ich mit einem taupe-farbigen Kohl Kajal von Catrice, da ich schwarzen Eyeliner an mir nicht so gerne mag. In den inneren Augenwinkel tupfe ich dann noch etwas von dem hellen Catrice Lidschatten um sie etwas aufzuhellen.

Anschließend tusche ich die Wimpern mit der Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara, meinem absoluten Liebling. Sie zaubert ein tolles Volumen und hält den Wimpernschwung auch total gut.

For my eyes I'm using my old favorite eyeshadow combination that I rediscovered lately. I'm applying "Satin Taupe" on the eyelid and "Quarry" to the crease. Both eyeshadows are from Mac, have an amazing pigmentation and are very blendable as well.

I'm doing my eyliner by using the taupe-coloured kohl pencil by Catrice, as I don't really like wearing black liner. 

Then I dab a little bit of the light Catrice eyeshadow to my inner corners to brighten up my eyes.

Subsequently I apply the Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara to my lashes. It gives great volume und holds the curl very well.

Als Puder benutze ich von Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot in der Farbe "Translucent". Das Puder ist super natürlich, mattiert die Haut aber trotzdem toll. Das ist für mich echt wichtig, da ich gerade im Sommer schnell anfange zu glänzen und so das Make Up besser fixieren kann. Als Blush verwende ich eins von Kiko, das nicht zu stark pigmentiert ist und deshalb ebenfalls sehr natürlich auf der Haut aussieht.

As powder I'm apllying Soap & Glory's One Heck of A Blot in the shade "Translucent". The powder is very natural and matting. This is really important for me because my skin starts getting oily very quickly during the summer months. The blush by Kiko has a good pigmentation and gives you a nice look.

Der nude Lippenstift ist aus der L'oreal Colour Riche Exclusive Reihe und hat die Farbe "Eva's Nude". Ich finde das ist ein sehr schöner Farbton, da es für meine helle Haut immer etwas schwierig ist ein Nude zu finden, das einen nicht tot aussehen lässt. 

Je nach Outfit greife ich aber auch ganz gerne auf knalligere Lippenstifte zurück und wechsele ständig hin und her.

The nude lipstick is from the L'oreal Colour Riche Exclusive range in the shade "Eva's Nude".

I really like the colour because I think it's very hard to find a flattering nude if you're very pale, like me.

Depending on the outfit I also like to wearing bolder lipsticks and changing it up a little bit.

Hier könnt ihr den fertigen Look sehen. Ich finde ihn, wie gesagt, sehr natürlich und trage ihn zurzeit andauernd.
