Spring Inspired Lookbook

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute gibt es endlich mal wieder einen gemeinsamen Outfitpost. Als Caro das letzte Mal zu Besuch in Deutschland war, haben wir natürlich die Zeit  genutzt, um zusammen Bilder zu machen. Es gibt also heute vier vom Frühling inspirierte Looks zu zeigen. Wir haben von About You dafür ein paar Teile zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen, die wir in den Outfits kombiniert haben. Auf About You findet ihr viele tolle Marken und es gibt eine Menge Auswahl, sodass es uns schon sehr schwer fiel uns für ein paar Teile zu entscheiden. Es ist also auf jeden Fall für jeden etwas dabei!

after a long time we want to share a joint outfit post with you. When Caro was here to visit the last time we did use the time to take some outfit pictures. Therefore we have four spring inspired looks to show you. We got the chance to get some pieces from About You to style them. About You is an online shop that offers many brands and there are a lot of pieces to choose from so it was really hard to decide which ones to pick. So there is definitely something for everyone!

Outfit: Flower Kimono

Hallo ihr Lieben! Langsam wird es ja endlich wärmer und die sommerlichen Sachen werden wieder aus den Kisten hervor geholt und in den Schrank gepackt. Das Kleid und den Kimono habe ich letztes Mal als ich bei Caro in Dublin war, also im März, bei Forever21 gekauft. Seitdem warten die Sachen sehnsüchtig darauf endlich getragen zu werden. Am Wochenende war es dann soweit, auch wenn das Wetter noch nicht super warm ist. Doch dadurch dass der Kimono einen schwarzen Untergrund hat, kann man ihn noch gut mit Strumpfhosen und Stiefeln kombinieren.

Hey guys! Slowly the weather is warming up here in Germany and the summer clothes can be taken out of the boxes and back into the wardrobe. I bought this dress and the kimono at Forever21 last time when I visited Caro in Dublin, which was back in March. Since then I waited till I could finally wear them. On the weekend it was finally time to wear them out, even though the weather wasn't that warm at all. But since the Kimono has a black background it can easily be worn with tights and boots.

Last Days in Dublin

Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich habe endlich die Prüfungsphase hinter mich gebracht und konnte den Tag heute das erste mal seit Wochen mit etwas anderem als Lernen verbracht. Ich war in der Stadt bummeln, brunchen und abends nochmal essen. Also habe ich die freie Zeit so richtig genossen.

Hi guys! I finally finished all of my exams and today was the first day after weeks that I didn't use for studying. I've been strolling around in the city, had brunch with my friends and also had dinner with them. So I definitely made most out of my free time.

Outfit: Short Hair and Embroidered Dress

Hallo ihr Lieben! Erst mal ein Wort vorweg bevor wir zum Outfit kommen. Wie ihr vielleicht schon auf Instagram oder spätestens jetzt auf dem Bild mitbekommen habt, sind meine Haare ab. Um die Geschichte kurz zu halten: Vor drei Wochen war ich zum Ansatzfärben und es ist so ungefähr das Schlimmste passiert was hätte passieren können. Ein Teil meiner Haare ist beim Auswaschen der Blondierung abgebrochen und zwar seeeeehr kurz (ca. 2 cm standen noch). Ich war komplett fertig mit den Nerven und bin eine Woche nur mit Pferdeschwanz rumgelaufen und habe versucht die Stellen zu kaschieren, was gar nicht so einfach war. Naja nach einer Woche war ich dann nochmal beim Friseur und habe mich dazu entschlossen das Beste aus der Situation zu machen und die ganzen Haare abzuschneiden, so dass es gewollt aussieht. Aber ich kann euch nicht sagen wie unglücklich ich mit den kurzen Haaren bin. Ich fühle mich einfach nicht wie ich und jedes Mal wenn ich in den Spiegel schaue, könnte ich in Tränen ausbrechen. Ich wollte auch echt keine Bilder mehr machen weil ich es so schlimm finde, aber ich muss jetzt versuchen das Beste daraus zu machen. Jetzt war das doch nicht so kurz wie gedacht :D

Hey guys! Before we come to the outfit I would like to talk to you about something. As you may have seen on Instagram or in the picture above my hair is super short. To make a long story short: I went to my hairdresser about three weeks ago to get my roots done and the worst thing that could have happened happened. When she washed out the bleach of my hair it started falling out. In some parts my hair was only about 2 cm long in the end and some where full length. I was totally shocked and wore a ponytail for a week straight trying to cover up the short bits but that wasn't that easy. About a week later I went to the hairdresser again to make the best out of the situation and cut the hair so that the short ones look like they were so short on purpose. But I can not tell you how unhappy I am with this decision. I hate the short hair and do not feel like myself at all. Every time I look in the mirror I am about to cry again. I really wasn't in the mood to take pictures of my outfit but I try to do the best out of it. Now that story wasn't really short :D

Outfit: Study Style

Hallo ihr Lieben! Heute gibt es von mir einen ganz entspannten Look. Ich bin momentan in der Klausurphase und da muss es einfach bequem und nicht zu aufwendig sein. 

Ich wollte gerade schon schreiben, dass man in dieser Zeit eigentlich andere Sachen als Klamotten und Styling wichtig sind - aber dann ist mir eingefallen, dass meine Lernpausen zu 90% aus Online-Shops, Blogs und Instagram durchstöbern bestehen. Wenn es aber zum eigenen Styling kommt trifft es schon zu und meine Outfits fallen eher ein bisschen basis aus.

Hi guys! Today's look is totally laid back as I'm in the middle of my exam period and therefore my outfits literally have to be comfy and not too sophisticated. 

I actually wanted to write that during that period you need time for other things than thinking about clothing and styling - and then it came to my mind that 90& of my study breaks are browsing through online shops, blogs and instagram. However it is true if it comes to my own styling and my outfits have been quite basic currently.

Outfit: Cecilie Copenhagen Shirt

Hallo ihr Lieben! Heute gibt es nach langer Zeit endlich mal wieder einen Outfit Post, denn ich wollte euch meine Bluse von Cecilie Copenhagen unbedingt auch mal noch in einem vollen Look zeigen. Da das Wetter ja leider noch nicht so 100% mitspielt ist es noch kein typischer Frühlingslook, aber für mich eine gute Übergangslösung.

Hi guys! Long time, no outfit post: So it was about time for a new one. I really wanted to show you my Cecilie Copenhagen shirt in a complete look. As the weater still isn't 100% spring like it isn't a typical spring look but kind of a transitional solution.

Bold Printed Bomberjacket

Hallo ihr Lieben! Kennt ihr es wenn ihr so durch die Geschäfte schlendert, eigentlich gar nichts bestimmtes kaufen wollt und plötzlich ein bestimmtes Teil eure ganze Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zieht? So ging es mit jedenfalls mit dieser Jacke, als ich sie im Geschäft gesehen habe. Absolut schockverliebt!

Hi guys! Do you know the feeling when you're wandering around the stores, just browsing around with nothing particular in mind and suddenly one particular pieces catches all your attention? This is what happened to me when I discovered this jacket and totally fell in love with it!

Copper and Pink ... again

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute gibt es ein neues Outfit von mir und wie mir gerade aufgefallen ist, ähnelt es doch sehr dem letzten Outfit, das ich gepostet hatte. Die Farbpalette bewegt sich wieder rund um Babypink und Kupfer. Ich kann mir einfach nicht helfen, die Kombination gefällt mir, vor allem wegen den blonden Haaren, so gut. Zusammen mit Jeansjacke und schwarzer Jeans jedoch nicht ganz so dominant wie im letzten Outfitpost. Aber Pastelltöne sieht man ja auch im Moment überall, damit liegt das Outfit total im Trend.

today I am back with a new outfit and I noticed that it is really similar to the last one that I posted. The color scheme is basically the same with the baby pink and the copper. I just can't help myself but I love the color combination especially with my blond hair. Together with the jeans jacket and the black jeans the colors aren't as present as they were in the last outfit I showed you. But if you browse trough the shops at the moment there are pastel colors everywhere so this outfit is totally on trend.

Outfit: Copper Overload

heute gibt es ein neues Frühlingsoutfit von mir. Bei meinem Interior Haul habt ihr ja gesehen, dass ich total auf Kupfer/ Rosegold stehe und auch bei Kleidern habe ich einen kleinen Hang dazu. Ich finde den Metallic Look einfach super und bei mir haben sich einige Teile angesammelt. Zusammen mit Rosa ist Kupfer für mich die bester Kombination im Moment.

today I am back with a new spring outfit. In my interior haul you have seen that I love me some copper and rose gold and I also noted my obsession going on with my clothes as well. I just love the metallic look and you can definitely find some pieces in my wardrobe. Together with a baby pink copper makes the most beautiful combination ever.

Outfit: Rainy Dublin

Hi ihr Lieben! Heute zeige ich euch eins meiner aktuellen Lieblingsoutfits, das für mich auch schon super in den Frühling passt. Das Wetter in Dublin ist momentan ziemlich wechselhaft, aber wenigstens muss man nicht mehr jeden Tag einen dicken Pulli anziehen. Den Longcardigen mit der ripped Jeans kann man also auch ab und zu ausführen.

Hi guys! Today I want to share one of my current favorite outfits that really fits into my spring mood. The weather in Dublin is quite changeable at the moment so you don't have to wear a chunky sweater every single day. Time to wear the long cardigan and the ripped jeans outside the house.

Outfit: Comfy As Always

Hi ihr Lieben! Zu Hause in Deutschland habe ich mal wieder meine geliebte Tigha Lederjacke ausgeführt. Die musste ja wegen den Gewichtsproblemen mit den Koffern leider daheim bleiben und deshalb habe ich die Gelegenheit gleich mal genutzt. Die Kombination ist wie immer ziemlich schlicht und gemütlich, mit Oversized Pullover, Strumpfhosen und Sneakers.

Hi guys! Back home in Germany I finally had the chance to wear my Tighy leather jacket again. I had to leave it at home due to my heavy luggage so I was really happy to have it back for a few days. As always the combination was quite casual: I wore an oversized sweater, tights and sneakers.

Outfit: Pop of Colour

Hallo ihr Lieben! So langsam kommt ja endlich der Frühling an, in Deutschland und auch in Irland wird es endlich ein kleines bisschen wärmer. Ich habe mich selten so auf Frühjahr und Sommer gefreut, wie dieses Jahr, da ich in Irland viel mehr draußen bin als zu Hause und dementsprechend auch viel mehr vom Wetter mitbekomme. Gefroren habe ich langsam wirklich genug und dicke Winterjacken kann ich auch nicht mehr sehen :D

Deshalb gibt es heute das erste etwas frühlingshafte Outfit von mir.

Hi guys! Spring seems to arrive finally in Germany as well as Ireland. I've never been so excited for the warmer months as I spend lots of time outside in Dublin and I'm tired of freezing and wearing winter coats.

Therefor I want to show you my first look that kind of fits into spring.

Outfit: Green Bomber and Sunshine

am Wochenende war Caro ja zu Besuch in Deutschland und die Gelegenheit haben wir natürlich gleich mal genutzt, um Outfitbilder zu machen. Das Outfit wollte ich euch schon längere Zeit zeigen, weil es zu einem echten Liebling geworden ist. Wenn ich nicht weiß was ich anziehen soll, ziehe ich gerne eine Kombi aus Jeans, T-Shirt und Sneakers an. Damit das ganze nicht komplett langweilig ist, nehme ich gerne mal eine etwas besondere Jeans, wie diese hier mit Beschichtung. Die Bomberjacke habe ich im Dezember im Sale bei Mango ergattert und musste ewig warten bis ich sie anziehen konnte, aber jetzt ist das Wetter endlich soweit.

Caro was visiting on the weekend and we used the chance to take some outfit pictures. This is a outfit I wanted to show you for some time because it actually is one of my favorites right now. If I don't know what to wear I like to go for jeans, t-shirt and sneakers. To make the whole look not totally boring I like to wear some jeans that have something to them, like these ones with a coating. The bomber I got in december during Mango sale and had to wait forever until the weather was warm enough to wear it.

What's in my Backpack

Hallo ihr Lieben! Da ich die "What's in my Bag"-Posts selbst super gerne lese und es schon länger nichts ähnliches dazu mehr auf dem Blog gab, zeige ich heute eine etwas abgewandelte Form. "What's in my Backpack" deshalb, weil ich momentan im Alltag kaum dazu komme, eine Handtasche zu tragen. Ich muss für die Uni meist viel zu viel mitnehmen, um das irgendwie in einer Tasche verstauen zu können, deshalb kommt meist der Rucksack zum Einsatz.

It's a "What's in my backpack" because I rarely wear bags currently as I have to carry too much stuff to university.

Flow Liffey Waters, flow gently to the Sea

Hallo ihr Lieben! Eine Sache, die ich besonders gerne an Dublin mag ist, dass man innerhalb kürzester Zeit am Wasser ist. Ob das jetzt der Strand in Sandymount Strand ist, den ich euch bereits in diesem Post gezeigt habe, oder der Liffey, der mitten durch die Stadt fließt ist dabei egal. 

Am Wasser zu sein hat einfach immer eine sehr beruhigende Wirkung auf mich. Meist fällt mir auch besonders in den Momenten, in denen ich irgendeine Brücke über den Liffey überquere auf, wie wunderschön Dublin eigentlich ist.

Hi guys! Being able to be near the water immediately is one of my favorite things about Dublin. Whether it's the seaside at Sandymount Beach, which I already showed you in this post, or the Liffey which runs directly through the city centre doesn't matter. Being near the water generally has a very calming effect on me.

Another thing is, that almost every time I cross a bridge over the Liffey I recognize how pretty Dublin actually is. 

Outfit: Walking the Dog

Hallo ihr Lieben,
keinen Uni zu haben ist so toll. Ich kann mich mal richtig Zuhause entspannen und zusammen mit meiner Mama und meinem Hund spazieren gehen. Leider mache ich das viel zu selten, da ich meistens wenn ich am Wochenende Zuhause bin nicht viel Lust dazu habe. Aber dadurch dass ich jetzt so viel Zeit habe und nicht genau weiß was ich damit anfangen soll, gehe ich öfter mit meiner Mama raus in die Natur. Heute zeige ich euch ein bequemes Outfit was ich tragen würde, wenn ich danach noch was besorgen müsste. Denn wenn ich nur kurz im Wald spazieren gehe, tun es normalerweise auch Jogginghose und Sneaker :D

to have no classes is just great. I can totally relax at home and walk the dog with my mom. I do this definitely not often enough because usually when I am home for the weekend I do not want to leave the house or just have other things to do. But because I have so much time on my hands right now that I actually don't know what to do with it anymore I tend to go out to the woods with my mom more often. Today I want to show you a outfit that I would wear if I had to do something afterwards because if I just go walk the dog I usually wear joggers and sneakers :D

Outfit: Zara Grey Coat

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute melde ich mich mit einem neuen Outfit zurück. Vor ein paar Wochen war ich bei Zara und dieser Mantel ist mir sofort ins Auge gesprungen. Eigentlich brauche ich keine weitern Mäntel oder Jacken, da ich jede Saison ein oder zwei kaufe und die anderen auch noch habe. Von daher könnt ihr euch meine Sammlung mittlerweile vorstellen. Aber ich dachte anprobieren schadet ja nicht. Großer Fehler, seeeeehr großer Fehler. Angezogen und sofort verliebt. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn das Outfit dreht sich um meinen neuen  Mantel.

today I am back with a new outfit for you. A few weeks ago I was shopping at Zara and this coat immediately caught my eye. Actually I didn't need a new coat because every season I buy one or two new ones and still have the old ones. You can probably imagine my collection by now. But I thought trying it on doesn't do any harm. Big mistake, very big mistake. Tried it on and fell in love immediately. Long story short this outfit shows my new coat.

Hallo ihr Lieben! Heute gibt es wieder mal einen sehr gemütlichen Look von mir. Bei dem momentanen Wetter hier in Irland ist es aber auch schwierig, sich nicht in den dicksten Pulli einkuscheln zu wollen. Eine Mütze gehört ebenfalls zum Standardprogramm. Geht es euch auch so, dass ihr Ende des Winters auch nicht mehr jeden Tag so richtig Lust auf einen schicken Lagenlook habt, sondern einfach einen Pulli überwerft?

Hi guys! Today I want to share another really comfy outfit with you. The irish weather just doesn't allow any cute combinations at the moment, the main goal is to stay warm, which is also the reason why I've been wearing a hat every single day. At the end of winter I just can't be bothered to think of another cute layering look, but rather throw on a huge sweater :D Do you feel the same?

Stan Smith Outfits Take 2

vor einiger Zeit habe ich meine Liebe zu Stan Smiths schon einmal in einem Blogpost kund getan. Aber ich kann nicht anders und möchte euch heute zwei weitere Outfits mit meinen Lieblingssneakern zeigen. Dank des doch sehr milden Winters konnte ich sie doch relativ oft tragen in letzter Zeit. Leider hat das Wetter und das Licht nicht so mitgespielt und die Bilder sind drinnen entstand. a little while ago I have already declared my love for Stan Smiths in a blogpost. But I can't help myself and today I want to show you two more outfits with my favorite sneakers. Thanks to the mild winter I could still wear them a lot during the last weeks. Unfortunately the light and weather did not want to cooperate with me today so I had to take the pictures inside.
